Base station С-1 may be used as a part of communication system Connect C2 managed by radio interface controller of switching unit. С-1 is designed as an alternative of base stations SENAO with installed automation boards produced by RCS. From the last C-1 bases it differs by:
• higher descriptive adjectives;
• LCD for operation mode and state of unit displaying;
• smaller emission power;
• smaller dimensions.

Application

Together with base station С-1 may be used the collinear antenna GP-2 and, if necessary for enlargement of operating distance and/or компенсации затухания в кабеле, антенный усилитель ART-300 (ART-300R).

Structure and functionalityOperation and data transmission with base station is implemented by radio interface controller through consistent inter RS-232 (signals in use RxD/TxD, DSR/DTR), no flow control. All the parameters of С-1 work are determined and controlled by switching unit of Connect C2.
Analog signals between С-1 and radio interface controller are transmitted in a differential mode.
Information about the operation of base station is displayed in a textual format on LCD (7 lines; 17 symbols).
Power supply of С-1 is possible from constant current source (+12V, 2A), and from domestic electricity supply network of alternating current (~220V).
Base station may be produced with different frequency range of transceiver.
